All about hair//Haircare routine+tips for healthy hair

Finally I am back with the much awaited post, all about hair and how to take care of them and maintain them.
Firstly,
  • Hair care routine
We all are blessed with hair and let it be curly, straight, wavy etc etc. Whatever your hair type is you should anyway take care of them but in the right way. Most of us forget the importance of having hair and brush them as if they were not a part of us just because they are frizzy or dead we don't like them so in frustration we lose majority of hair. So,remember to be gentle while combing/brushing your hair and always untangle your hair from the thick bristle side of your comb not the thin ones. And ALWAYS untangle from bottom to top part of your hair, it will make it easier.

Scalp care is very important because it directly connects to healthy hair. So when you are applying oil to your hair make sure to gently massage it onto your scalp, it also 
helps in blood circulation.
I generally mix coconut oil, olive oil(best),almond oil and castor oil(2-3 drops), rosemary or lavender oil in a bowl and heat it for 10-20 seconds and then apply it all over.
           Every weekend I wash my hair and I apply oil at the night time and wash off the next day. If not, I apply oil and wait for 4-5 hours and then wash off.
       Remember washing your hair everyday is not right because as you are washing away the oils secreted by the scalp, it will inturn produce more oil there by making it more oily after 2 days of shampoo( which most of them complain about, best way is to wash your hair after every 5-6 days in that way it wont secrete more oil).

Next step is finding your ideal shampoo and conditioner. Everyone have their own ideal shampoo or conditioner which works best for their hair. What works for my hair might not work for you but definitely do find the right products with no sulphates and harmful chemicals.
         Always primary shampoo your hair i.e., Add a few pumps of shampoo and mix it with water and put it all over your hair. Gently spread and massage it and rinse off. Now, again add 3-4 pumps of shampoo and dont put it over your scalp directly rather mix it with a little bit water,make it into a foam and then apply it on scalp and a very tiny bit on your hair. Rinse off with luke warm water and not hot water you guys.

 Now a conditioner is a must, if you don't condition your hair then your hair is in for a trouble (split ends, hair fall etc..) .Your hair needs a repair and only conditioners can help the roots of your hair get that nourishment. Don't apply conditioner to the scalp it is meant only for the hair. Leave the conditioner for about 5-10 minutes atleast and then rinse it off. If possible cover it with a shower cap while the conditioner is on.


After you are done with shampoo and conditioning your hair don't ever brush or comb your hair when it is wet because your hairs are very sensitive and there is a possibilty that you will lose a huge chunk of hair if you brush it.
        Don't rub your hair with towels which is a huge mistake done by most of them. Pat it dry in sections. Don't blow dry or use straightner's on the hair as it will compeltely damage your hair and as a result you will have a lot of hairfall. If you are using a straightner or a curler make sure to spray heat protectant. Bblunt and Tresemme  have good range of heat protection sprays.

Lastly, THE KEY TO HEALTHY SMOOTH HAIR this is something which has made a huge difference in hair texture, also promotes hair growth, nourishes it and It is something I swear by i.e.,ARGAN OIL any argan oil would do as it is rich in phenols that are beneficial to hair and promote good hair growth i.e., all we need thick,long healthy smooth hair.I spray the argan oil and apply it to the roots and also a spray it in small amounts all over my hair.

 Now this is something which can be done every 1-2 months i.e., A HAIR MASK. A hair mask can basically intense repair your hair. I don't apply any fancy hair masks. The hair mask I use is very simple and easy all you need is coconut oil and honey. Take required amount  of oil and honey depending upon the length of your hair,mix them in a bowl and heat it for 20 seconds then apply it to your scalp and hair. Cover it with a shower cap. Let it sit for about 20-25 minutes,then rinse off with any shampoo and conditioner.

I personally don't believe in any leave on conditioner's or serum's because I have had worst experiences where I had huge hair loss after using them so I don't recommend them. If you have dandruff then you can mix coconut oil with lemon (2-3 spoons) and apply it all over your hair. This mixture can also treat any white/grey hairs.

  • TIPS 
1. Don't leave your hair open and sleep instead tie it into a ponytail or clip it up.
2. Always use a conditioner after shampoo.
3.Don't use a lot of heat on hair and don't blow dry your hair everytime instead let it air dry and after shower make sure to spray good oil back into the hair. I would suggest argan oil.
4. Trim your hair at the extreme ends to get rid of any damaged hair or splitends.
5. Don't get your hair colored every now and then because it just damages the hair.
6.Eat right food which contain a lot of nutrients. Avocados are very good for hair growth.Green tea is also good for hair you can either spray it on your hair or you can drink green tea.
