Five Beauty Hacks I Actually Use (Everyday)!

I know I know, I have been MIA for probably 2 months now due to my exams. I apologize for being irregular, but Hey, since it's 2018 and I plan to be regular. So, firstly Happy New Year everyone. All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. So, let go of the fear and whatever is on your mind just do it without having any second thoughts. People will judge you NO MATTER WHAT but they can't stop you from anything.
As students, we may not own most of the products that we see on YT or elsewhere. But there are a lot of products which work similar to those actual products and I am all about those hacks because we don't want to spend so much money on something which is not really needed when we have affordable options,and also they may not work so great like the actual ones but definitely worth buying because firstly they save our money and secondly we can buy them again and again because they are easily available in the market. So here goes my list of beauty products,
1. Nivea After Shave Balm/PRIMER- I use it as a primer and also a moisturizer. It does make my makeup last for a longer time because it contains a key ingredient i.e., GLYCERINE which helps the makeup stick to our skin. I was surprised by the results because it works so well and I use it on an everyday basis now. It provides a flawless base and there is a difference when you apply the foundation to this product and without it.
2. Makeup Setting Spray/Toner- I use rose water as a toner before applying makeup and also use it as a setting spray. For the setting spray, I mix equal amount of pure water and rose water , mix them well and there you go you have your own setting spray. I use a smaller spray bottle which is travel-friendly so that I can use it every now and then to look fresh throughout the day.
3.Loose Power/ Makeup Setting Powder- I use the Johnson's Baby powder. Yes girls, I use it daily and it saves a lot of money and it can stay for quite a few hours compared to the actual ones but definitely worth buying because it does provide a smooth finish.It can be used for baking under eyes and setting the whole face after foundation. Quantity wise it will last for two months even if we use it daily.
4.Matte Lipsticks- Matte lipsticks have become so popular lately. But unfortunately, I own a lot of cream lipsticks. I prefer matte one's now but since I already own the cream ones I turn them into matte ones. Before putting on any lipstick make sure you moisturize your lips a few minutes beforehand. Apply the cream lipstick then put a tissue on lips and apply loose powder over the tissue and press it slowly. It does stay longer if you are not eating and drinking constantly.
5.Makeup Removal- Want to remove that bold kajal or heavy makeup? You don't need any fancy products. All I do is apply petroleum jelly/coconut oil and apply it everywhere together with the help of a tissue, I remove my makeup. I preferably use petroleum jelly.
