Budget Makeup For School/College

Hey, Everyone!
I personally, asked few of my friends about what to post as my first blog post and almost everyone said an everyday budget/affordable makeup kit for college would be very helpful.

So, to begin with, let me tell you all a fun fact i.e., I am not a morning person thus I hardly have any time to get ready.
Subsequently, finding affordable makeup/skincare products in the market is a huge task because not every person can find them easily. Anyways, let's get started. I have listed out a few of drugstore and mid range makeup.

Drugstore makeup does involve ingredients which can be harmful to the skin.But, if you take care of your skin and prep your face beforehand I don't think there's any issue. I do use those products on my face so don't worry.I have listed out all the affordable makeup products so that you can opt for those within your budget.
Before starting with makeup, it's very important to cleanse your face with a mild face wash to remove the dirt/grease.Equally, moisturizing your face is also necessary so as to prevent dryness in the skin and make it softer and smoother.Here are few of the products that I highly recommend-

1. Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub - It is a must have because it is very effective and removes all the dirt from your face and leaves the skin smooth and moisturized. I use this twice daily.
2. Clean and Clear Morning Face wash- It is good for the oily skin type but not recommended for dry skin because it makes it drier.
3. Bakeson's Sunny Aloe vera cream-Hands down it is the best moisturizers I have ever used.It literally repairs your skin from the inside and as time passes by you will have flawless skin. Availability is an issue but it is available on Amazon.

4. Moiste Aloe vera cream- It takes some time to get absorbed into your skin but overall it is a good moisturizer. It is easily available in the Apollo Pharmacy Stores.
   
   Now it's time for the fun part- MAKEUP ^_^.
    I mostly use the Beauty Balm (BB) cream / Color Corrective (CC) cream.These creams are multi taskers i.e., they are a blend of skincare and makeup. They have SPF and all good properties.Though they don't provide full coverage it can be buildable.To cause your makeup last for a long time use a primer.The Nivea After Shave Balm is very affordable and is one of the top primers in the world. #winwin
5. Lakme 9 to 5 Complexion Care Cream-My go to product every morning.It has an SPF 20 which is good.Doesn't cover dark spots.
6. Pond's White BB+ cream- Similar to the Lakme one but has an SPF 30 which is great and also cover's dark spots.
7. Maybelline Clear Glow BB cream-It provides good coverage but the quantity is less and won't even last for a month.
8. Colorbar Perfect Match BB cream-Gets absorbed into the skin quickly and provides medium to full coverage.

To set your base makeup a powder is essential.

1. Maybelline White Super fresh Compact-A must have to make your face oil free.
2. Johnson's Baby Powder-It is like any other loose powder's. Perfect for baking under eyes and never fails to impress me.

All about Eye Makeup

1. Sivanna Pastel Eyeshadow Palette- It is really pigmented and best product for beginners.
2. Music flower Lasting Gel Liner-Super Black and smudge proof.Best part-You get two of them just for Rs.210.
3. Lakme Precision Eyeliner-Waterproof, long lasting and smudge proof.Best part-Easy application.
4. Maybelline Colossal Kajal-My favorite go to product.Smudge proof and long lasting.
5. Maybelline Volume Express-The Best Mascara to get long lashes if used in the right way.
6. Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara- Good Mascara but dries too quick.
7. Lakme Eyeconic Lash Curling Mascara-Similar to the Volume Express one.

To apply foundation a beauty blender is necessary. The Pac Mini Beauty Blender is sufficient.It blends the foundation really well.

The brush kit I ever owned was the Hello Kitty Makeup Brushes.They work pretty well and are super soft but there is no eyeshadow blending brush in the brush kit.You can get the brush kit here. Last but not least are the lips.You can use a tinted lip balm / just a nude lipstick.
Tinted Lipbalm's-Nivea, Himalaya, Maybelline baby lips and Lakme Lip Love Lip Care are the most preferred ones.
Nude Lipsticks-Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color-Nude Brown, Elle 18 Color Pop Matte Lipstick, Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon (Matte).
