My Skincare Routine//TIPS FOR HEALTHY SKIN

 Heyy Again!

As we all tend to buy makeup to look flawless and hide all the imperfections it is very important to invest in some good skin care products. Though, makeup is not the solution for everything because at the end of the day you should make sure your skin is fresh and healthy. So, to me, skin care is essential. Watching the Korean and Japanese drama's/movies I wondered *Are they even humans?* Because they have flawless skin which drives me crazy! But it's true, that they use products which have a lot of SPF and skin care properties. Besides, make sure that you are letting your skin breathe for most of the time at home.

Firstly I remove my makeup with vaseline petroleum jelly or coconut oil. Then, I cleanse my face with the Patanjali Apricot Face scrub by massaging my face for about 2 minutes. Wash your face at least 2-3 times daily. I don't wipe my face usually with any towel and let it air dry as I tend to get small breakouts/heat pimples on forehead and chin area because they are the oiliest parts of my face. The towel hanging in the bathroom is often dirty and causes acne so the best way is to pat it dry using your hands.

Secondly, a toner to rebalance pH after cleansing and to hydrate and exfoliate your skin. You don't need any fancy toners. You can do it yourself at home. I use a small amount of rose water (2-3 drops) mixed with pure water(4-5 drops)  and pat it gently on my face. I repeat this three to four times.
After moisturizing
Now a Sunscreen is a must even if you are at home or outside because it protects your skin from harmful UV rays. A fun fact is that it can also slow or temporarily prevent the development of wrinkles. I prefer using sunscreen which has an SPF 40+. I have been using the Lotus Herbals Safe Sun 3-In-1 Matte Look Daily Sun Block for a really long time and it does its job really well.

Lastly, I moisturize my face. I use the Bakeson's Sunny Aloe vera Calendula cream. It is one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. It's been a year now since I am using it and my skin feels incredible. And for my eyes and lips I just apply petroleum jelly.

I want to conclude by saying that, we should take care of our skin in the best way possible by investing in skin care products more than makeup products. And eating healthy sounds great but, it is tough to incorporate into daily life. Eat healthy foods and you will feed your skin the vital nutrients. You should also have a daily dose of vitamins i.e., Vitamin A(for wrinkles), Vitamin B3/B complex (for redness), Vitamin C (for spots) Vitamin E (for moisture), Vitamin K (for dark circles) are good for skin. So eat plenty of fruits which have a lot of vitamins and high water content which boosts your skin. And one more thing, Do not touch your face unnecessarily and don't let anyone touch it because it can make the face more prone to breakouts which we are all not fond of and launder your pillow cases every 2 to 3 days. Keep your nails clean and tidy.Wash your beauty blenders and makeup brushes after using them. Use Organic makeup. Buying makeup online/in the markets (roadside) can be a money saver, but be careful of dangerous knockoffs. They are not authentic and contain dangerous amounts of chemicals which cause a serious threat to the skin. These knockoff cosmetics look similar to the original ones but are fake ones.
